Exercise 2: Unifying Vowel Sounds

November 22nd, 2007

New in the Ward Choir Network series Exercises to Improve Ward Choirs is an exercise designed to help choirs sound more mature and focused.  Unifying Vowel Sounds addresses one of the most common barriers to choral blending.  Download and print the PDF to use with your choir on the Exercises page.

The Ward Choir Network is proud to introduce its new series, Exercises to Improve Ward Choirs, by Nathan Howe.  New printable exercises will be posted on a regular basis.

The first in the series is titled “Light Tones in High Range.”  We hope you will download it, print it, and use it to improve the tone of your choirs.

This new site is designed to assist those who direct, accompany, and sing in the local choirs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Be sure to join the discussions in our forums, print some of our exercises, and subscribe via RSS or e-mail to find out when new resources are added. Thank you for visiting.
